Peter McHugh 2009 PPMRN ConferenceLast Updated: Tuesday, 03 February 2009 Performance Measurement in UK Local Government: Six Key Measurement SkillsFriday, January 23, 2009 – 9:30 a.m. Peter McHugh Peter McHugh founded Covalent Software in September 2003 to specialise in performance management software for the public sector. Covalent is now the UK market leader and employs over 30 staff. Peter spent the previous eleven years running his own strategy consulting business, RUBIC Consulting, specialising in the IT sector. During this time he advised nearly 100 companies on all aspects of business development and company growth. In July 1999, Peter published his first book, Making it Big in Software, an assessment of how the leading twenty five UK software companies grew to be international success stories. Peter has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree, and post graduate degrees in Management Studies and Finance & Accounting. In a fitter life, he was the all-Ireland 400m hurdles champion.
