Nauri Ahmed

Nauri has worked in the Office of Budget and Financial Reporting since 1992. He is responsible for financial reporting, financial policy development, and technical assistance to Virginia’s Community Services Boards. The agency operates 16 state hospitals and has an annual budget of nearly $1 billion and 9,000 employees. Nauri has been a board member of the Association of Government Accountants (Richmond Chapter) since 1998 and has served as president, membership chair, and director of the Blue Ridge Professional Development Conference. He has also served as reviewer for AGA’s Service Efforts and Accomplishments Reporting program since 2003 and serves on several national committees.
